Zoom G1on is amazing for the money
At a very reasonable price, less than the average single stomp box, this guitar multi effects processor is amazing value. The Zoom G1on has taken the trusty multi effects unit and refined the menus and sounds. It is actually easy to use! Not something that can be said about most other units. The Zoom G1on has seventy five guitar effects built into it. It features all the usual classic effects including overdrive, distortion, modulation etc... Everything is controlled via two sturdy foot pedals and some menu buttons. As well as all these effects, the Zoom G1on has a massive bunch of rhythm patterns. You can also connect up an external music device such as an MP3 or CD player. Another great feature is the built-in loop pedal. A great live and practice tool.
Guitar Multi Effects Processor with seventy five different effects
The Zoom G1on Guitar Effects Processor has a pretty comprehensive range of sounds. These include Overdrive and Distortion, Dynamics and Filter, Amp Modelling, Modulation, Delay and Reverb and Special Effects. The Ovedrives and distortions are modelled on some of the best loved stomp boxes. The BOSS OD-1, MXR Distortion Plus, Big Muff and many more. Filters include compressors and equalisation. A huge number of guitar amps have been modelled and feature in the Zoom G1on. All the big ones are in there including Marshall, Fender, Vox and many more... A great range a chorus, flanger, phaser sounds and more are included. You also get a bit pile of great delays and reverbs.
The Zoom G1on is also easy to use
The way the Zoom G1on is designed it makes it very easy to use. It doesn't work like your usual guitar multi effects processor. In fact, it works more like a bunch of stomp box effects pedals linked together in a chain. You can have five different effects switched on all at once. The screen displays each effect individually. This means you can easily tweak it. This is a big upgrade from the previous Zoom G1 models. Beginner and entry level Zoom effects boards have come a long way since the 505. Also, you can quickly get your guitar in tune using the on-board guitar tuner. Simply press both pedals together.
The Zoom G1on can run on both mains and battery power. This makes it even more flexible. Particularly if you are on the move. It comes with four AA batteries. You can however purchase a nine volt power supply separately.
This guitar multi effects processor really does re-define value for money. With many of the features of the popular G3 at a much lower cost it really is great value. The Zoom G1on is quite simply the best place to start when look for a first effects pedal. It will also attract experienced players for home, practice and stage usage.
