The Zoom B1Xon has an incredible amount of features for a very attractive price. You can chain the effects in any order you like. There are 68 built in rhythm patterns which are great for jamming along to. You can also record yourself with the onboard looper which gives you up to 30 seconds of CD quality audio. You can set the loop length manually by punching in and out or to a preset number of quarter notes. You can loop to any rhythm pattern, with automatic quantization that ensures seamless start and end times!

There are dozens of top quality, great sounding amp models and effects to choose from. The B1Xon has everything you could possible need, from compressors and noise gates to filters, octavers and synth sounds. The Zoom B1Xon also simulate plenty of famous classic and modern effects pedals. It really is amazing.

Of course there is an onboard tuner and the built in expression pedal can be used to control 5 different pedal-controlled effects. Connectivity is great too. You can practice in silence as the output socket doubles up as a headphones connection. There is also an auxiliary input to connect a music player too and jam along through the pedal. There is a USB connection which can be used to power the pedal and update the firmware. The pedal can run off 4 AA batteries or a 9v power supply. The batteries are included with the pedal but a power supply is not.
