Crafted to the very highest level in Japan this guitar is a beauty. The Yamaha RS20CR Revstar features a Mahogany body with a Maple top. The flat body has a cut in the back and top for comfort. The Brushed Black finish has been given an interesting Steel Wool rub effect. A unique Copper Pickguard has been fitted and looks the part. The Revstar RS20 CRBBL features a medium profile neck for a classic feel. The Rosewood fretboard comes with a modern 13-3/4 inch radius and jumbo frets. This stylish of instrument has been inspired by Cafe Racer motor bikes and Japanese Denim. Amazing attention to detail has gone in to creating the Revstar design. Three years in the making including extensive research has resulted is this great looking double cutaway electric guitar.

The RSP20CRBBL has VH7+ Vintage Output Pickups with antique finished covers.

The Yamaha RSP20CRBBL comes with dual VH7+ Alnico Humbucker pickups. They are controlled using a three way switch, volume and tone controls. The tone is Push/Pull. This is the Dry switch. This is a clever little switch that filters out low frequencies. A little bit like a coil tap except much more use-able. The Revstar has bags of character. Both looks wise and tonally. The RSP20CR ships with its own hardshell case. For a Japanese built guitar it is also very reasonably priced.
