The TASCAM US-16x08 USB Audio interface comes with sixteen mic/line inputs.
This Audio/Midi interface will let you connect up to 16 microphones or line ins at the same time. An amazing amount considering how much the TASCAM US-16x08 cost. Also included are 8 ultra high quality Mic Pre-Amps. They are super clean and deliver up to 56dB of gain. More guitar specific options are also available. Amp Simulator Software lets you get a great sound recording directly in. With many inputs it makes recording a drum kit properly possible. A standard USB 2.0 connection works with your computer. An Advanced DSP mixer gives you 4 band EQ on each channel as well as compression. A nice physical design feature is the angled front. Rather than sitting flush to the desk it angles up for easier access. The metal body if durable too. Although the Tascam US-16x08 interface works with Mac and PC there is also connectivity for iOS devices.
