The Stagg BC300LH is a Left Handed, 4-string Bass Guitar presented in a gloss black finish with black hardware. With a solid alder body, hard maple neck and rosewood fretboard, this bass conforms to the classic tone-wood formula. Two pickups are mounted to the body in a versatile “PJ” format: P-Bass split single-coil neck pickup and J-bass single-coil bridge pickup. The Stagg BC300 Left Handed falls into this mould, combining the solid bass sound of the Precision Bass single coil, with the cleaner tone of the Jazz Bass pickup. Thus, whether you just want to provide a foundational bass sound in a band, or dial in a more refined tone for solo playing, this bass will suit you well.

Solid body guitars and basses have been built using alder bodies for almost as long as they have existed. This is a fine, resonant tone wood, which acts as a perfect foundation for mounting pickups and the bridge. Similarly, maple has cemented its place as the neck wood of choice, providing stability and exceptional tonal transfer into the body. The incredibly hard Rosewood fretboard was traditionally only fitted to premium instruments, and is highly resistant to playing wear. White dot fretboard markers contrast well with the dark wood, providing helpful waypoints as you play.

In terms of hardware, the bridge is a classic Jazz Bass design, with four individually adjustable saddles for accurate intonation. At the other end are geared tuners, providing stable tuning and precise adjustments.
