The Sigma GECE-3+ Macassar Ebony is part of Sigma's Modern Series of electro-acoustic guitars. Designed from the ground up with today's guitarists in mind, the Modern series features a simple aesthetic with no pickguard and tasteful abalone detailing. The GECE-3+ is fitted with highly figured Macassar Ebony back and sides with Solid European Alpine Spruce top.

SIGMA GECE-3+ Macassar Ebony ELECTRO-ACOUSTIC GUITAR WITH FISHMAN PICKUP

For those who play live, The Sigma GECE-3+ features a discreet and sophisticated Fishman Flex Plus pickup system for reliable and accurate amplified sound. The guitar features a cutaway for improved access to the upper frets, while the slightly wider 1-3/4" nut width facilitates the most intricate of fingerstyle playing.

Solid European Alpine Spruce - used for the soundboard - has been a staple of instrument-making for centuries, and is increasingly difficult to source. Its long-valued sonic focus is here paired with dense Macassar Ebony, prized for its impressive projection and outstanding bass response. The bone nut and saddle ensure that all vibrations from the strings make their way directly into the soundbox.

The fretboard on the Sigma GECE-3+ is black micarta, bound with mahogany and finished with swirl markers. Ebony tuner buttons and micarta bridge complete the aesthetic, for a cohesive, refined look. Abalone flourishes - on the rosette and bridge pins - set this guitar apart as a premium instrument, as does the solid mahogany binding to the body, which matches the fretboard.
