This has been matched up with laminated Wild Cherry back and sides. Compared to the S6 Original it features a slightly more stripped back finish. The back and sides have not been stained and have a more natural appearance. There is no binding on the back of the classic model binding either. It is still capable of brilliant acoustic tones. The Cedar top is warm and resonant. A punchy sound is achieved without the boomy-ness normally associated with dreadnoughts. The result is a guitar with versatility.
