A small body guitar made in Canada
We love Seagull Guitars at Merchant City Music. They have been a constant in our Glasgow shop for a long, long time. When we heard they were producing a solid top version of the Excursion we new it would be a winner. The Seagull Excursion Nat Grand Solid Spruce SG does not disappoint. To get a quality made made acoustic guitar at this price point is outstanding. The solid spruce top marries up to the laminated wild cherry exceptionally well. Also, the Grand body shape is great for smaller guitarists. It also offers a brilliant level of clarity that you can't get from a bigger acoustic.
Grand Sized Seagull Excursion with a solid spruce top
The Seagull Excursion Nat Grand Solid Spruce SG is small but mighty. Very mighty. Part of this must be down to the Solid Spruce Top combining well with the laminated wild cherry back and sides. It delivers strong projection. You get a slightly narrower nut width than the standard Seagull. The same as what you would find on the Seagull S6 Original Slim. It means smaller hands shouldn't have a problem getting round the fretboard. The Seagull Excursion Nat Grand Solid Spruce SG is all about play-ability and tone. This is where the money has been spent.
This is a cracking little acoustic guitar. With a stripped back finish the Seagull Excursion Nat Grand Solid Spruce SG delivers on tone and play-ability.
