The Schecter Solo-II BlackJack is here presented in a Gloss Black finish with Ebony fretboard and Black Chrome hardware. Mounted to the arched top, single-cutaway Mahogany body are twin Lundgren M6 pickups, highly respected for their combination of high output and superb clarity. The 3-piece ultra-access Mahogany set neck is extremely stable, while the thin ‘C’ neck profile and compound radius fretboard result in seamless string bends and chorded playing.

Schecter Solo II BlackJack in Gloss Black with Twin Lundgren M6 Pickups
The Schecter Solo-II BlackJack in Gloss Black has an immediately familiar LP-style silhouette, with the appropriate 24.75” scale length, but has been hot-rodded for today’s virtuosic guitarist. The all-black aesthetic is framed with cream multi-ply binding, surrounding the body, fretboard and headstock. Schecter’s Pearloid Line markers have been set into the fretboard, further setting the tone for an overall striking aesthetic.
Mahogany is, of course, the tonewood of choice, used in both the body and neck to provide a rich tonal foundation for those two Lundgren M6’s. These pickups have developed an outstanding reputation for their combination of high output and clarity.
The M6 design is a combination of unique winding and a ceramic magnet placed under the pickup. The results have caused many players to give up active pickups. With lots of gain on your amp, harmonics are a piece of cake, and your notes come through even with lots of distortion. Low end isn’t sacrificed either, the tight and focused response leading some to compare it to playing with a tight bass player.
Keeping everything in check are Schecter locking tuners and a TonePros T3BT tune-o-matic bridge with T1Z Tailpiece.
