The Schecter PT Van Nuys is here presented in a Natural Ash finish with Roasted Maple neck and fretboard. A Schecter Diamond Vintage tremolo bridge allows whammy-bar techniques to be executed with ease, while also keeping intonation in check thanks to individual saddles and locking tuners. Two Schecter USA SuperRock Vintage humbucker pickups provide rich and powerful tone, riffing off the success of ‘80s PT guitars used by The Who.

Schecter PT Van Nuys in Gloss Natural Ash
The foundation of this Schecter PT Van Nuys is that stunning Ash body, with its distinctive figuring showing through the Gloss Natural finish. Ash is the original tone wood used on the world’s first production electric guitars, but its use has become rarer in recent years due to reduced supply. The body is fitted with a bolt-on Roasted Maple neck with a Thin ‘C’ profile, and topped with a matching 14” radius Roasted Maple fretboard, fitted with 22 X-Jumbo frets. Quick playing and highly stable thanks to the Roasting process, this neck is designed to facilitate today’s technical guitar playing.
Designed to faithfully reproduce the tone of 1980s Schecter humbuckers popularised by The Who, the SuperRock Vintage pickups fitted to the PT Van Nuys deliver a musical mix of rich and brilliant tone, with even power across the tonal output. These pickups allow chords to ring with detail, while single notes have stunning definition. They have enough power to drive your amp into that much sought after musical distortion that has just a little more aggression and bite. At full power the pickups break up nicely.
The Diamond Vintage Tremolo system allows the whole range of classic whammy bar techniques, while Schecter locking tuners keep the strings locked down at the other end.
