The Schecter C-1 FR SLS Elite in Black Face Burst takes the familiar Strat and throws the rest out the window. The demon of a guitar will satisfy the deepest cravings of the metal player who demands the best. The Fishman Fluence active system - ceramic magnet in the bridge and AlNiCo in the neck - is the most OP setup available, producing thick, articulate tone with effortless aplomb. These are bolted onto a thru-neck body, with swamp ash wings and Maple/Walnut/Padauk Multi-ply neck (reinforced with carbon fibre) producing stunning sustain which lasts for days. Killer looks are ensured by the Flamed Maple top, visible through the Black Face Burst finish.

The Schecter C-1 FR SLS Elite’s playing ergonomics are no less impressive. The Ultra Thin ‘C’-shaped neck is graduated in both thickness (.748” at the first fret to .787” at the 12th) and radius (12”-16”), while 24 X-Jumbo frets are designed for lightning fast riffs and solos. These are painstakingly made out of Stainless Steel, a process which takes significantly longer than standard frets due to the material’s hardness. The benefit is that they will likely last the life of the guitar without needing dressing or refretting. The Floyd Rose 1500 tremolo system is legendary, and for good reason, locking down your tuning and enabling the most extreme of string bends and tricks.
