Rickenbacker 4003’s are rare. We sometimes have to wait years before new stock is built and becomes available. This Satin Mapleglo version is ultra rare! Being a 2020 limited edition model, this is a rather special instrument. The Rickenbacker 4003 Satin Mapleglo is elegantly simple, with an unmistakable curved body and bound rosewood fingerboard. The 4003 comes with deluxe triangular inlays on the fretboard, and has dual outputs for with mono or stereo capability. It now comes with a vintage tone control (accessed via a push/pull switch on the treble tone knob), which adds bite and crispness. Also new for 2020 is an improved V2 bridge with roller saddles.
