Reverend Unknown Hinson Signature Guitar in Midnight Black with Roasted maple neck
With the Unknown Hinson Signature, Reverend took a Club King body, slimmed it down to 1-1/2" thick, reduced the body shape around 10 percent, added a full length centre block, and 24-3/4" scale neck. The result is a thicker and more aggressive tone with increased clarity. This is a versatile semi-hollow guitar that can cover everything from authentic Country twang to Classic Rock. Stuart Daniel Baker (Stu D. Baker) is the man behind Unknown Hinson. Reverend's Unknown Hinson Signature model features Bat shaped inlays, a Hinson logo on the body matching headstock, and signature inlayed pickguard.
Roasted maple neck and 9A5 pickups
Roasted Maple is heat treated at over to remove sugars, moisture, and impurities. This maple is lighter, more stable, and has a beautiful caramel colour. The result is an exceptional maple neck that will require less seasonal adjustment, and boasts a rich vintage look! The 9A5 bridge pickup serves up raw, classic tone, but is wound slightly hotter and thicker sounding than a vintage P90, making it perfect for the bridge position. The 9A5 neck pickup is slightly cleaner than a vintage P90, with clear, open tone. Combined, these pickup and neck upgrades make this outstanding guitar even better than we could have imagined!
