Reverend Tricky Gomez 290 Satin Metallic Alpine Green, vintage vibe with modern reliability

The Reverend Tricky Gomez 290 is one of the most popular instruments in Reverend's Set-Neck Series. They took the body of the Manta Ray and added some P90 pickups and a Bigsby B-70 vibrato. The back, sides and centre block are carved from one piece of Korina. This is then capped with a solid Maple top. You can hear and feel the resonance before even plugging in. The P90 pickups provide a raw and classic tone rich in harmonics and character. By rolling back the bass contour control you can re-voice the pickups to make them sound more vintage in character and really thinning out the sound for some twang.

The highly resonant semi-hollow body offers so much with the pickup and control layout. Tuning is kept in check with Reverend's locking tuners and a graphite nut. The roller bridge helps too. The medium oval profile Korina neck features a Rosewood fingerboard with 12" radius and block inlays.
