Reverend Jetstream HB Cream, real workhorse guitar with style!

The Reverend Jetstream HB Cream looks amazing. It's 25.5" scale length provides great clarity to this twin humbucker equipped electric guitar. Reverend use their own alnico 5 magnet HA5 humbuckers in the Jetstream HB. The bridge pickup is recognisably a classic humbucker, but wound slightly hotter for extra drive and punch. The neck pickup offers warm but open tone with slightly relaxed mids. Both have excellent clarity. The bass contour control really transforms the sound of the Reverend Jetstream HB. Rolled right back it re-voices the pickups to sound like single coils. So with the Jetstream HB you get a twin humbucker guitar with more than meets the eye.

Reverend Jetstream HB with Roasted Maple neck

The super cool contoured offset body of the Reverend Jetstream HB is made from solid Korina. This wood offers many of the same properties as Mahogany but with more consistency and lighter weight. Solid Korina resonates well and makes for a real lively and responsive instrument. The Roasted Maple neck is a real stand out feature. The Roasted Maple that Reverend have used has been kiln dried to remove most of the moisture. This results in a neck that is resistant to temperature and humidity. The advantages also include stability, increased resonance and lighter weight. The process also gives the Maple a beautiful caramel colour and makes the grain of the wood really pop.

Top Shelf Hardware

As with every Reverend, the Jetstream HB in Cream benefits from a Boneite nut, which reduces friction and has a resonant response similar to that of bone. Other hardware specs include Reverend triple tree sting tree, an etched Reverend logo on the 6 bolt neck plate, Pure Tone jack socket and etched jack plate, upgraded pots and electronics, and low profile controls. The bridge on the Reverend Jetstream HB is a Tune O Matic with Stoptail, for solidity and great intonation.
