Reverend Descent W Baritone Periwinkle
Thanks to a 26 and three quarter inch scale length this baritone plays like a guitar rather than a bass. The Reverend Descent W Baritone features Reverend’s outstanding roasted maple neck with satin finish. Roasting the maple provides increased stability and resonance for a better-sounding and more usable guitar. It also feels amazing, encouraging you to keep playing long after you would have put another guitar down. A Rosewood fretboard with 12 inch radius and a custom SIT 12-68 gauge string set with plain 3rd string means you'll be able to bend strings with ease.
RAILHAMMER PICKUPS, BALANCED KORINA BODY, AND ROASTED MAPLE NECK
The korina body is well balanced both acoustically and in terms of weight. It features flawlessly finished Periwinkle paintwork. The hardware on this Reverend Descent W Baritone puts it in the professional league. A set of Railhammer Humcutter pickups deliver P90 tones without the hum. They can be tweaked using the volume and tone controls. You also get Reverend’s famous bass contour control, allowing you to roll off the lower bass frequencies to thin out the tone and add some spank!
The Wilkinson tremolo unit is one of the best we’ve ever used, offering intonation similar to a hard tail thanks to screw-down saddles which lock in place once set. Locking machine heads help to keep the tuning stable, while also making string changes a cinch.
