Based on Reverend’s Charger body, the Chris Freeman Signature - here presented in Turquoise Sparkle - is the signature model for Hot Mulligan’s captivating guitarist. Boasting numerous mods, this guitar invites creative experimentation. You get not one, but two kill switch options (toggle and push), while the control plate has been deleted for a hot-rodded look. The neck P90 is joined by a Railhammer Nuevo 90 in the bridge, while the reverse headstock contributes a rebel vibe.
Here at Merchant City Music we are proudly one of Reverend's biggest dealers worldwide with an enormous selection of guitars in stock. Pop in to our Glasgow store for a demo or order online safe in the knowledge that you'll be receiving a perfectly setup example shipped straight to your door, no matter what country you live in.
Reverend Chris Freeman Signature in Turquoise Sparkle
Dive into the world of Emo with Hot Mulligan, a dynamic group that has been captivating audiences since 2015. In celebration of their musical journey, Reverend have created a signature model for long time Reverend supporter Chris Freeman, adding his unique spin to the “Charger” body.
The Reverend Chris Freeman Signature is a professional level electric guitar, providing outstanding build and component quality, as well as some unique Chris Freeman modifications. Its foundation is a solid Korina body, resulting in light weight and outstanding musicality. The body has a gloss Turquoise Sparkle finish, while the neck and is crafted from Roasted Maple. A comfortable playing experience is ensured by the medium oval neck profile, while the 12" radius fingerboard is very quick - perfect for more technical playing.
Roasted Maple is normally used on custom shop and high-end boutique built guitars, but Reverend have brought this material to a price bracket never seen before. This is the smoothest, silkiest neck you will ever feel, while the reverse headstock is great for tuner access and drop tuning. Tuning is very stable thanks to the fixed bridge, locking machine heads and Boneite nut. Again, this is great tried and tested hardware.
P90 Neck Pickup and Railhammer Nuevo 90 Bridge pickup
The Chris Freeman model is fitted with a Reverend P90 in the neck and Railhammer Nuevo 90 in the bridge. The P90 offers more cut than a humbucker and sounds fatter than a single coil, while the Nuevo 90 has all the fat lower mids, raw attack, and greasy tone you'd expect, with the tonal balance and enhanced response of the Railhammer design. As well as a standard 3-way switch, tone control and volume control, the Chris Freeman comes with Reverend’s Bass Contour control and two kill switches - toggle and push - for ultimate creative expression.
With its stripped back look, rebel reverse headstock and borderline outrageous switching, the Chris Freeman signature already a Reverend classic!
