The solid korina body of this instrument delivers plenty of tonal zing. Using korina is part of the Reverend secret. Bolted on to the body of the Reverend Charger RA is a Roasted Maple neck and Ebony fretboard with a twelve inch radius. The medium oval profile is very comfortable for many. The medium jumbo frets help reduce fatigue over long playing periods.

Roasted Maple is normally used on custom shop and high-end boutique built guitars. Reverend have brought this material to a price bracket never seen before. The Roasted Maple that Reverend have used has been kiln dried, removing most of the moisture for a much more stable neck. This results in a neck resistant to temperature and humidity. The advantages also include stability and increased resonance. The Roast results in a much more sultry look, which, combines with the Ebony Fretboard, gives the Charger RA a very upmarket aesthetic.

Warm, open, lightly compressed, with chimey highs. Perfect for blues, classic rock, old school metal and punk. The clever Nuevo 90 neck humcutter pickup is classic vintage P90 tone, evolved to perfection and fits it into a standard size humbucker box. All the fat lower mids, raw attack, and greasy tone you'd expect, with the tonal balance and enhanced response of the Railhammer design. Plus the dual coil Humcutter design means it's hum free! Reverend's bass contour control enables you to completely re-voice each pickup, thinning out the sound to give single coil like cut.
