Reverend Billy Corgan Drop Z Pearl White

The Reverend Billy Corgan Drop Z expands the Billy Corgan Signature line up, adding in the capacity for some low tuning action. The longer 26.25" scale is bolted to the same Alder body as the standard Z-One, while the thicker tone of the Z-One Humcutter pickups perfectly suits the lower register. The Drop Z features a sculpted body with double cutaways and strategic chambering under the aluminium pickguard. Presented here in Pearl White gloss, this is one very special looking guitar with performance to match.

The Revered Drop-Z use Alder wood for the body, chosen for its slightly thicker tone, mimicking some of the Strat's Billy has used in the past. For the Z-One and Drop Z, Joe Naylor has designed a fantastic looking futuristic double cutaway body that is both well balanced and super comfortable. Strategic chambers under the aluminium pickguard add resonance and reduce weight. It's a fresh new design that will stand the test of time.

Billy's acclaimed first Signature model features his signature Railhammer Humcutter pickups. These have been redesigned for the Drop Z producing a fatter midrange and a smooth top end, with custom artwork etched into the covers. The Drop Z sounds sublime and is capable of huge rock tones with immense clarity. The included bass contour control allows you to roll off the lowest bass frequencies which completely revoices the pickups for a more single coil like voice.

Of course, the Reverend Billy Corgan Drop Z features a beautifully finished roasted Maple neck that is silky smooth to the touch. This time we have a 41mm nut width instead of the usual 43mm that Reverend offers. The 26.25" scale, 12" radius and 24 frets are a joy to play on. A string-thru body bridge with stainless steel saddles give a percussive attack that provides maximum sustain and a ringing, solid tone. Locking tuners give great tuning stability and allow for fast and simple string changes.

The extended scale length, curvaceous shape with aluminium pickguard, chrome low profile knobs and pickup surround make this instrument stand out from the crowd. A "Z" icon on the headstock also sets this Rev apart from the rest of the range.
