The PJD St John Limited is here presented in a Cocoa Burst finish with high grade Flamed Maple top and Mahogany body. The bolt-on neck is constructed from Quartersawn Roasted Maple, topped with a compound radius Indian Rosewood fretboard. Two custom-wound Cream T pickups are fitted - an Eliminator humbucker in the bridge and P90 in the neck - while quality Gotoh hardware is used for the bridge and tuners. Supplied in a PJD-branded Hiscox hardcase, the PJD St John Limited looks, feels and sounds simply sublime.

PJD St John Limited in Cocoa Burst - Handmade in the UK

The stunning PJD St John Limited starts where the flagship Elite model leaves off, adding higher grade tone woods for a truly luxurious experience. Highly figured flamed maple is used for the top, while the Mahogany body also exhibits some beautiful grain patterns. Beautifully hand-built, the St John Limited features a chambered body, resulting in lighter weight and more open tone. In a neat touch, the body cavity covers are constructed form the same wood as the body top, in the same finish.

The neck on the St John Limited is constructed from quartersawn roasted maple, with a custom neck profile based on a standard "C" shape. Combining the purification benefits of roasted maple, with the superior strength of the quarter sawn cut, this neck is highly stable with outstanding resonance transfer. It is topped with an Indian Rosewood fretboard with compound 10”-12” radius, allowing seamless chorded playing at the nut, as well as intuitive string bends further up the neck. The heal block is contoured for comfort.

In terms of pickups, this particular PJD St John Limited has been fitted with two Cream T pickups - an Eliminator humbucker in the bridge and P90 in the neck. The bridge pickup is a pure classic rock humbucker with vintage output. The neck pickup has that fatter single-coil output beloved in soapbar pickups, perfectly complementing the St John LTD’s chambered Mahogany body.

A 42mm bone nut, Gotoh Hardtail bridge and Gotoh Vintage-Style tuners complete the package, ensuring the hardware quality meets the standard of the guitar itself. The St John Limited is supplied in a PJD-branded Hiscox hard case and comes with a PJD certificate of authenticity.
