Pilgrim Redwood A-Style Mandolin with 'F' soundholes
We've been really impressed by Pilgrim instruments since the company has been overhauled and relaunched by master instrument designer Paul Tebbutt. They seem to consistently offer a little bit more for what you're paying in terms of quality and playability. This particular instrument features a solid ebony bridge, usually fitted to more expensive instruments, resulting in a pleasingly resonant body.
Spruce top with mahogany back and sides is a tried and tested tonewood combination, and you can't argue with the quality of sound produced here! The sunburst top is a classic feature which will be right at home in any folk group. The rosewood fretboard is another quality feature, and the geared tuners ensure it stays solidly in tune.
