Kerry King has a classic old school mid scooped guitar sound. In conjunction with his Marshall JCM800 head this MXR KFK1 Kerry King EQ pedal helps get those mid scooped high gain rhythm tones. The difference between this guitar pedal and the standard MXR M108? This one has a wicked tattoo on it as well as dual outputs. This means you can run it into two guitar amps at the same time. As well as scooping your sound you can also use it to boost it. Great when you need more cut for soloing. As this is a ten band equalizer you can really fine-tune your sound.
