New for 2021, the Music Man Majesty Hydrospace takes John Petrucci’s vision to the next level. This stunning limited edition model comes with an enlarged carved Quilted Maple top and three piece Honduran Mahogany through-neck with Flamed Maple centre strip. 24 Medium Jumbo Stainless Steel frets have been flawlessly finished and set in an ebony fretboard with unique blue Atlante fretboard markers. The Majesty’s custom active preamp is combined with HH DiMarzio Dreamcatcher and Rainmaker pickups, plus Fishman Powerbridge piezo saddles. Only 175 of these will be made and our stock example is number 51.

Music Man Majesty Hydrospace

Compact and perfectly balanced, the Music Man Majesty is a masterpiece in guitar design. Its singular purpose and unmatched versatility mean it could well be the ultimate electric guitar. The Music Man Majesty Hydrospace takes the Majesty formula and ups the desirability even further, coming with a three-piece neck which features a Flamed Maple centre strip up its length. This is complemented by an enlarged carved Quilted Maple top. Honduran Mahogany sandwiches the neck centre strip, while Alder provides the body wings. Further setting the Hydrospace apart are blue Atlante fretboard markers.

The Majesty Hydrospace shares the standard model’s legendary playability and intuitiveness. The body’s deep cutaways allow full, unhindered access to every one of the 24 medium jumbo stainless steel frets, while the heel-less neck-through design eliminates any obstacle at the neck/body join. Stunning hardware quality matches the Hydrospace’s peerless build quality, from the chrome-plated, hardened steel Custom John Petrucci Music Man floating tremolo, to the Schaller M6-IND locking tuners.

Custom active preamp with DiMarzio pickups and Piezo Bridge

The Music Man Majesty Hydrospace’s quality and playability only provide half the story. Where this guitar truly excels is in the huge breadth of tones it offers. Monster humbucker tone is provided by the twin John Petrucci signature DiMarzio pickups. These are complemented by a Fishman Powerbridge with individual piezo saddles for chiming cleans. This three-part tonal foundation is brought to life by the Custom Music Man active preamp, incorporating a push/push volume control for gain boost and push/push passive tone for custom 2 pickup configurations.
