For a start it looks great. The quilted maple top looks excellent with its Amber Trans finish. The top is fixed to an ash body. A maple neck has been bolted onto this and comes with a compound radius fretboard. It runs from 10.5 to 16 inches. A very nice modern touch to what looks like a vintage style guitar. The 1955 Mod Shop has some excellent electronics. Take for example the two Fralin humbucker pickups. These have been hand wound in the USA. They perform beautifully. When you combine them with a Great 8 Partial Tap Mod you have a wealth of great tones.
