This little USB Audio Interface is built to last. It features a solid metal construction. Perfect for those on the go. The M-Audio M-Track is versatile too. You get a number of different types of inputs. Both channels feature a combination of balanced XLR and 1/4 inch jack sockets. If you are using a microphone then the XLR input should work best. This can be used for Phantom Power. If you want to plug a guitar, bass or any other suitable instrument directly in then use the 1/4 inch jack. The Mtrack lets you monitor the input Signal. This has zero latency. This can be heard through your headphones. When adding parts to existing songs use the monitor mix knob to fine tune the balance. An LED meter lets you keep an eye on those input signals so they don't clip.

Ableton Live Lite Software included.

The M-Audio M-Track also includes some excellent recording software. Although a cut down version, Ableton Live Lite gives you a huge amount of power at your finger tips.
