Borrowing the valve section from the 112 combo it has a premium grade EL84 Ruby output tube. The Laney Lionheart L5 Head can can also be run in 0.5 watts. This makes it great for the house as well as in the studio. Also it makes a great low volume recording amplifier. The front panel comes with a three band EQ and Tone. A switch lets you go between clean and drive. The clean channel on the L5 has a separate volume and a bright switch. The tones available on tap are versatile. This amp is capable of excellent cleans through to rich overdrive.

The L5-STUDIO has USB, Emulated output, Headphone output, Effects Loop and Auxiliary input.

The Laney Lionheart L5 Head is crammed full of useful features. A D.I. output with emulation is perfect for plugging straight into mixing desk. Perfect for recording but also if you want to use the amp live. USB is included for recording straight into your computer. Need to play quietly? The Headphone socket also includes a level control. An effects loop is great for pedals like delay, reverb and modulation. The amp can also change channels remotely with the included foot switch.
