Jet Guitars JT-350 Electric Guitar in Black with Roasted Maple fretboard
With a lightweight and resonant Basswood body, combined with a Roasted Canadian Maple neck / fretboard, the Jet JT-350 gets off to a very good start. This guitar really has looks to die for, with a rich gloss finish showing off the Black body and Roasted neck to full effect. Knurled flat-top knobs give it a vintage look which complements the caramel hue of the neck and rich tortoiseshell pickguard.
In terms of playing ergonomics, the JT-350 is immediately comfortable for the modern guitarist, coming with a Modern “C”-shaped neck profile and 9.5” radius fretboard. Jet have gone to extra lengths to improve playing comfort, with an extra contour added to the lower body cutaway to ease upper-fret action, as well as a plate-less neck heel and belly cut.
In terms of hardware, the locking tuners are a fantastic feature at the price, while an upgraded Wilkinson bridge has been spec’d, coming with 6 block steel saddles for outstanding resonance transfer and intonation. The bone nut further ensures that all vibrations from the strings are transferred to the two Alnico pickups. These are controlled via volume / tone knobs and 3-way switch layout. The humbucker in the neck can be split for single-coil tones, thanks to a push-push tone knob.
The Jet JT-350 in Black significantly outshoots its price bracket in terms of features and specs. It’ll also appeal to seasoned guitarists and “tweakers” looking for an instrument to tinker with and mod at very little cost. A winner all around.
