With a lightweight and resonant Basswood body combined with a Roasted Canadian Maple neck / Rosewood fretboard, the Jet JS-700 gets off to a very good start. This guitar really has looks to die for, with a rich gloss Copper finish and stripped back no-pickguard look. Chrome hardware and cream / black pickup covers add a premium look which complements the caramel hue of the neck.

In terms of playing ergonomics, the JS700 is immediately comfortable for the modern guitarist, coming with a Modern “C”-shaped neck profile and 9.5” radius fretboard. Jet have gone to extra lengths to improve playing comfort, with an extra contour added to the lower body cutaway to ease upper-fret action, as well as a plate-less sculpted neck heel.

In terms of hardware, JS 700 features multiple upgrades over lower models in the Jet range, making it really stunning value at the price. The Wilkinson double locking tremolo system facilitates the whole spectrum of whammy bar tricks, while simple controls ensure a fuss-free playing experience.
