The Jackson David Ellefson Bass is a signature model Kelly Bird V. This 5 string bass sports a stand out Blue Burst finish on a basswood body. The Dave Ellefson model includes a bolted on maple neck and EMG pickups. It is the Megadeth bassists signature 5 string. The Jackson David Ellefson Bass has an offset body in Blue Burst with a centre stripe.

This bass is incredible value for money. When it first arrived into Merchant City Music we thought it must cost twice the price! The Blue Burst finish over the centre stripe looks the part. It has been neatly crafted from basswood. The one piece maple neck has been bolted on. An oiled finish protects the neck but still gives you that satin feel and look. What really makes this Jackson David Ellefson model special though is the compound radius on the neck. On an instrument at this price that is almost unheard of. It starts at 12 inches at the bottom progressing to 16 at the top. It makes it hugely playable and very versatile.

Another big plus of this signature bass is the inclusion of EMG pickups. With EMG HZ40 neck and bridge pickups it is no slouch. Perfect for big meaty tones. The Jackson David Ellefson is controlled using volumes for each pickup and an active three band EQ. A Blend control lets you go between the two humbucker pickups.
