This instrument is for jazz players who prefer a slightly more compact body. The Ibanez SS300-DVS has a solid spruce top. What this does is enhance the tonal richness of this Artstar Jazz box. It increases sustain acoustically which will also influence the electrified tone. Set into the body is a five piece maple and walnut neck. It has been combined with an Ebony fretboard. The fretwork is exemplary too. They get the special Artstar Treatment which rounds the edges. It neatens up the finish and makes them nice to play.

Super 58 Humbucker Pickups and a floating bridge.

This semi acoustic guitar has great hardware too. The SS300 includes Super 58 humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. A great vintage style tone with warmth and clarity.
