Part of the Artstar range this hollow body guitar is fantastic value for money. The Ibanez SJ300 comes with a solid spruce top and flamed maple back and sides. The body is finished in a Dark Violin Sunburst. At this price level that is pretty exceptional. The solid top gives it a richer acoustic sound and improved sustain. An Artstar 5 piece maple and walnut neck is set into the body. This comes with a bound ebony fretboard Abalone block inlays. Fretwork is exceptional too. They get special treatment to round the edges making it great to play. The Ibanez SJ300 comes strung with Flatwound strings which are perfect for jazz. They have a very warm, almost deadened characteristic sound. A firm favourite of many traditional jazz guitarists. Two Super 58 humbucker pickups also feature. They are warm yet clear sounding.
