Although the Ibanez RG421EX in Black Flat is not specifically for metal but it certainly leans that way. The mahogany body has neat binding round the edges. Bolted onto the body is a Wizard III maple neck. This comes with a bound rosewood fretboard with white dot inlays. The cutaway RG body gives great access to the full 24 frets. Quantum humbuckers are positioned in the neck and bridge. These are great with gain and controlled using volume, tone and a three way switch. The Ibanez RG412 EX has a hardtail bridge.
