The Hagstrom Impala is a solid body electric guitar with a Brown Burst finish. This reissue is based around the original 1963 model. This Retroscape Series guitar updates the original 1963 design for 2015. The Hagstrom Impala has a solid mahogany, double cutaway body with a Brown Burst finish. A mahogany neck has been set into this. The neck itself features 24.75 inch scale length and a 15 inch radius fretboard. Resinator has been used to make the fretboard. This has similar tonal properties to ebony but more consistent. The Impala comes with two Hagstrom AlNiCo-5 Retro-S pickups. The switchnig system allows you to engage the pickups individually. You can also switch the tone off or on on each pickup. A Bass cut also allows for greater tonal flexibility. The Vintage Tremar retains an old school vibe but now works better than ever.
