The Hagstrom Alvar Left-Handed is a small-bodied semi-hollow electric guitar, which scales down the highly popular Viking for players who need a more wieldy axe. The key ingredients are all in place, with the ply maple body, 24.75” scale length and twin Hagstrom HJ-50 AlNiCo-5 Humbuckers working together to produce that classic semi-acoustic fat tone, yet with plenty of sustain. The looks are also to die for, with the artistic Viking trapeze stringholder/-tailpiece, art deco Hagstrom-design tuning pegs and tasteful white binding.

The Hagstrom Alvar is the smaller brother of the Hagstrom Viking. This semi-hollow bodied instrument in its “petite” body size, will be a perfect match for players searching for a semi-hollow in a smaller compact form. While it shares so many elements of its larger bodied sibling, the Alvar is a reigning force despite its diminutive proportions and elements.

Sturdy, focused and resistant to feedback at high volumes and excessive gain, this guitar reacts and steps up to the task required.
