Looking for a set of bass, acoustic or electric guitar strings? We stock all the top brands such as D'addario, Ernie Ball, Elixir, Rotosound, Fender and more. It is important that you regularly change the strings on your instrument. There are a number of reasons for this. Firstly, a nice, new set will sound brighter and louder. When the strings are done they become dull and might even start to go black. The danger with this is that they become rough and corrosive. This can quickly damage the frets on your guitar. Your frets will start to become pitted fairly quickly. The guitar may then need a fret dress or worse, a re-fret! How often you change your guitar strings depends on how often you play and how corrosive your sweat is! Some guitarists sweat more than others. If you really are going through a set quickly, within a day or so, it might be worth looking at coated strings. They are waterproofed to last longer. They do cost a bit more but last three times as long. We offer a quick UK delivery service. If you place a mail order direct on our site you will normally get your strings within two working days. We also sell Ukulele and other folk instrument strings.
