The set neck design of this guitar places it in the realm of classic single cut models. The Godin Core CT HB in Black also features a 24 3/4 inch scale length. Spanish Cedar has been used for the body. This is a little different from the usual mahogany. It is commonly used for acoustic guitars. It produces a rich, warm sound. A mahogany neck has been set into the body. This has a rosewood fretboard with dot inlays. You get plenty of sustain. Hardware is good too. It comes with a Seymour Duncan 59 in the bridge position and a Godin GHN1 in the neck. Both very capable pickups. Controls on the Godin Core CT HB in Black includes a volume and tone for each pickup.
