This is a very comfortable instrument to play. This is largely thanks to the Folk sized body that also includes a cutaway. The top of the Freshman FA1AM has been crafted from solid sitka spruce. The more you play this acoustic guitar the better it will sound. That is the beauty of a solid top. Flamed maple has been used for the back and sides. It is a stunning looking instrument too. Tones are rich and full of clarity. The smaller body helps add that tonal definition. It is a guitar that is great for finger picking and equally at home with strumming.
