Fender’s original Parallel Universe series caused a bit of a stir when it was released a couple of years ago, but now it’s back with a bang; welcome to Parallel Universe II! This Fender Parallel Universe II Troublemaker Tele Custom is presented in Olympic White with black 3-ply pickguard. Unique features include a Mahogany body and neck, Ebony fretboard, Gold hardware and Twin Custom Double Tap Humbucking pickups. A Nitrocellulose Lacquer coating finishes off the package. Supplied in a special Surf Green Deluxe Hardshell Case, complete with case candy and Certificate of Authenticity.
This B Stock example has minor nitro cracks to the headstock finish, just above the nut (see pictures). Nitrocellulose finishes are renowned for naturally “relic’ing” in this way, over time; this example has just begun the process slightly early. There are also a couple of imperfections in the body binding finish, also detailed in the photos. The instrument is still brand new and covered by its full Fender warranty, for your peace of mind.
The Fender Parallel Universe II Troublemaker Tele Custom in Olympic White is now available from Merchant City Music, online and in our Glasgow store. We are Glasgow's longest-established guitar specialist, shipping fast to our customers in the UK, Europe and beyond. Every instrument we sell is subjected to a rigorous check over and professional set up, ensuring you receive the best possible example.
Fender Parallel Universe II Troublemaker Tele Custom in Olympic White
It takes a big personality to show up in a white tux – and the Troublemaker Tele® has the swagger to pull it off. The bold Olympic White lacquer finish and swanky gold hardware belies this guitar’s true purpose – to cause an uproar and make a racket.
But it’s not all style-over-substance – this Tele has class. The body is a solid chunk of mahogany, known for its mid-range growl and sustain. The 12” radius fretboard and 22 medium-jumbo frets promise smooth action even with the most aggressive playing and its custom Double Tap™ humbucking pickups give the Troublemaker its rowdy-yet-refined voice.
It’s been said that the well-behaved rarely make history. With a martini in one hand and brass knuckles in the other, the Troublemaker Tele Custom is ready to make some beautiful noise.
