The Fender Jaguar was first released in 1962 as a premium model, designed to lure guitarists away from Fender’s biggest rival. Original ‘60s production Jaguars now sell for considerably more than their original asking price, which is where this MIJ Traditional II ‘60s Jaguar comes in. Designed to emulate the feel and sound of the original, it also benefits from the latest in guitar and pickup technology, resulting in a more reliable instrument than ever before. Like the Mustang, the Jaguar features a slightly shorter scale length of 24”, giving it an easy-playing feel which also endears it to guitarists with smaller hands. The “U”-shaped neck is slightly chunkier than Fender’s standard “C” neck profile, making it perfect for those who prefer a neck they can get a good grip on. The 9.5"" radius fretboard profile is perfect for a range of styles, from surf to indie rock, while the Jaguar’s sophisticated circuitry allows it to adapt to these diverse musical settings tonally too.
