Quite simply this is one of the best sounding little amps we have ever heard. The Fender Bassbreaker 007 Head is not an expensive amp either. It is exceptional value for money. It is built around a pair of 12AX7 preamp and one EL84 power tubes. This delivers 7 watts of Class A amplification. Control wise it includes Gain, Bass, Middle, Treble and Master Volume. It has a few tricks up its sleeve though. A small Treble Boost Button kicks in more gain when you need it. Fender Amps aren't normally known for their overdrive. We can confirm though that the Fender Bassbreaker 007 Head is a strong performer in the clean and overdrive departments. The gain on this little beast is powerful and punchy.
