The EVH Striped Series White with Black Stripes looks like it has just travelled through time from the 80s! The long awaiting EVH Striped Series has finally arrived in store and it's been worth the wait!
The EVH Striped Series electric guitars are made in Mexico to a very high standard indeed, the finish is flawless and the neck feels sublime. The neck on the EVH Striped Series White with Black Stripes is made from quartersawn Maple which is graphite-reinforced and features a thumbwheel truss rod adjuster at the base of the neck. The hand-rubbed oil finish feels great in the hand and the compound radius fretboard allows you to get away with a low action yet still make huge bends all over the neck. The EVH Striped Series is a simple enough guitar with a mean single direct-mount Wolfgang humbucker wired straight to a volume control which is labelled "tone" just to confuse you!
Based on Eddie's famous striped guitar, the EVH Striped Series White and Black guitar features a single ply black scratchplate. The double locking trem consists of a Floyd Rose locking nut and an EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking tremolo with the handy EVH D-Tuna installed on the low E string. The EVH D-Tuna allows you to drop the low E to a D without the hassle of undoing the locking nuts and retuning the whole guitar, drop D in an instant!
We think the EVH Striped Series White with Black Stripes electric guitar offers superb value for money for such a quality instrument with quality parts. Whether you're an Eddie Van Halen fan or not, this axe is sure to appeal to rockers old and young!
