3-Pack of Ernie Ball Regular Slinky guitar strings - an industry standard
Along with D'addario EXL110s the Ernie Ball Regular Slinky set of nickel wound electric guitar strings are pretty much the industry standard. In the 1960s Ernie Ball realised their was a demand for lighter gauge strings for rock and pop guitarists. At the time players were struggling with heavy gauges. Wild string bending was nigh on impossible unless you had fingers of steel. Ernie Ball approached Fender at this time to see if they would take on his ideas. He got knocked back. He decided then to go it alone. Ernie Ball strings were then born. They grew in fame with players such as Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and many more.
Regular gauge nickel wound electric guitar strings
Ernie Ball Regular Slinky guitar strings are manufactured in America. For the wound strings a Hex shaped steel core wire is used. Nickel plated steel wire is then used to wrap around this. The plain strings have been manufactured from tin plated high carbon steel. A vibrant, bright tone is perfect for adding some character to your electric guitar. Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings work well on slightly shorter scale guitars such as a Gibson. They can also be used on the twenty five and a half inch scale length guitar to give it more zip.
The Ernie Ball Regular Slinky guitar strings are popular the world over. That's because they sound great, last the pace and very well priced.
