The Cort MBC1 has an instantly recognisable offset body shape. A solid basswood body has been finished in a hard wearing matt black. The sleek 25.5" scale Maple neck features a Rosewood fretboard with a compound radius. The Cort MBC-1 Lefty is equipped with pickups developed by Manson Guitar Works especially for this guitar. The versatile setup includes a fully voiced humbucker in the bridge and a true single coil neck pickup reflecting the layout of several of Bellamy’s own custom instruments. The controls on the Cort MBC1 are simple while versatile. There is a single volume control, master tone and a three way switch. This controls the humbucker/ single coil pickup combination. It all works together with the kill button and the overall instrument design to give you a highly creative and great sounding instrument. The fully adjustable bridge and stop tailpiece are complimented by staggered height locking machineheads which offer great tuning stability and quick string changes.
