All Solid Blackwood Model

The characteristic of the blackwood is similar to an ideal blend of several tonewoods. Rich low-end of mahogany, the brightness of maple and the ethereal overtones of rosewood. Blackwood is good for both strumming and fingerpicking, with responsive clarity and power that comes from its dense characteristics.

Auditorium Cutaway Body Type

With dimensions of 117㎜(4 5/8") body depth, upper bout width at 292㎜ (11 1/2") and lower bout width at 405㎜(16"), the Auditorium body size is perfectly in between the large Dreadnought and the more intimate Grand Concert. This makes the Auditorium body type ideal for both strumming/flatpicking and fingerstyle playing and suits the versatile acoustic player who prefers to have one guitar to cover a variety of sounds and playing styles.

Bone Nut & Saddle, Ovangkol Fretboard, Mahogany Neck, Open Pore Finish

The Cort Core-GA nut and saddle are both crafted from water buffalo bone for the most natural and transparent transfer of string vibrational energy into the body and neck. Known as a great overall tone wood, Ovangkol shares similar tone characteristics as Rosewood with a warm and slightly fuller midrange. The combination of Ovangkol fretboard with Mahogany neck produces a warmer mixture of balanced tone with deep sustain. The open pore finish not only enhances the resonance of the woods but it also reduces the weight of the guitar for improved playability.

Fishman Sonicore / Sonitone Pickup system

Installed internally without cutting out any of the woods, the Sonitone EQ system retains all the natural resonance and the pure acoustic sound so prized in an acoustic guitar. The controls are simple and intuitive to use, with Volume and Tone controls accessible from the sound hole. An internally-mounted battery pack maintains the discreet look.
