Limited Edition Charvel Henrik Danhage Signature Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 in White Relic
With a painstakingly-finished roadworn - or relic’d - look, the Henrik Danhage Limited Edition Signature Pro-Mod So-Cal Style 1 is indistinguishable from one of the artist’s own gigging instruments. The White Relic body finish exposes the Ash body wood, an increasingly rare tonewood nowadays, as supplies have begun to dry up. To this is bolted a relic’d maple speed neck with a hand-rubbed finish, compound radius fretboard, and reverse headstock. The neck’s feel is simply sublime, with unhindered progress across the ‘board, even for the most skilled player. The Floyd Rose trem facilitates even the most daring tricks and pyrotechnics.
To match Danhage’s unique soundscape, a Seymour Duncan® JB™ TB-4 bridge humbucker has been teamed up with a DiMarzio® Area 67™ DP419CR neck single-coil. These are controlled via a single volume control (labeled as tone) with Push/Push for switching between the pickups - pure simplicity, which allows seamless transitions between these two distinctively stunning pups.
The Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 is a quintessential humbucker which has seen whole genres of music evolve around it. Perfect for Danhage’s sound, the low end is full and powerful, with crisp and detailed highs and an upper-midrange bump that adds crunch and chunk to heavy chords. This translates to a singing, vocal-like quality when you play single notes or solos. Meanwhile, the hot output pushes your amp just that little bit harder for more sustain and harmonics.
The DiMarzio Area 67 has classic bright and clean sound, but without any hum thanks to DiMarzio’s Area technology. Magnet pull has also been reduced by 40% for improved sustain and clarity. The Area 67 has all the chime of 60s pickups, with none of the downsides.
