Walrus Audio

Here at Merchant City Music, we are proud to stock the Walrus Audio range of effects pedals. Walrus Audio is a collective of artists, musicians and engineers attempting to find the balance between art and performance in sound manipulation. The company's inception was inspired by the collective's favourite classic effects sounds: the perfect breakup on an overdrive; a thick, punchy distortion; an endlessly sustained reverb; a self-oscillating delay.

Created through many months of late night breadboarding sessions, circuit problem-solving, and sonic tweaking, the Walrus Audio range of guitar pedals are as versatile as they are functional. Each effect has been designed to highlight the ideal attributes of the sound it produces. Once the sound profile is nailed down, individual artwork is commissioned for each pedal. The result is a range of pedals which are as interesting to play as they are to look at.
