Kauffmann

Kauffmann Guitars started as a side project for founder Albert Deinum. Finding he had time between customers in his Netherlands guitar shop, he decided to build a guitar for his own use. Pretty soon he found customers asking him to build guitars for them too, and things grew from there. Fast forward to today, and Kauffmann have a small team of dedicated builders, each of which is responsible for building a guitar from start to finish. This workshop feel translates into outstanding attention to detail, playability and quality.

Kauffmann's relic'ing process, or "Time Travel Treatment" comes in three heaviness levels: Light, Medium or Heavy. Whichever level you prefer, the authenticity is a match for the best out there, with some finishes even coloured to match the effects of nicotine exposure over time. What really sets Kauffmann apart, however, is the playability of the guitars. You can really tell these instruments have been made by guitarists, for guitarists. Top shelf hardware and pickups complete the package.
