Brian May Guitars

Brian May guitars are something a little bit different. The famous Queen guitarist was the architect behind the original Red Special solid body guitar design. With its unusual switching combinations and set neck design this instrument is pretty versatile. It will obviously handle the high gain sounds of Brian May's signature sounds but also allows you to create your own.

Brian May made the original red special along with his father, taking two years to complete the project. The materials used to construct the original include fireplace wood for the neck and an old table for the body.
