The Blackstar Amps HT Stage 100 Head Guitar Amp pushes out a fat 100 watts of ultimate British tone and dynamics propelled by 4 specially selected EL34 power stage valves. 3 individual channels with a total of 6 tonal modes delivery astonishing flexibility and adaptability. The Clean Channel is a 'boutique' type and offers two modes: 'British Class A' and 'Dynamic US'. The two Overdrive Channels provide two further modes each all incorporating the patented ISF tone shaping system. The Blackstar HT Stage 100 head guitar amp can accommodate a wide range of playing styles and situations and displays huge versatility. Clean Channel: With specific tone controls for 'Bass' and 'Treble' alongside the 'Voice' switch which changes between the two modes of 'Boutique' and 'Modern', the clean channel on the HT Stage 100 has plenty adjustment available to create the perfect clean tone for a wide variety of sounds. By altering not only the preamp voicing and gain stage structure but also the power amp damping response, the 'Voice' switch conspires to allow the HT-100 to produce classic ringing 'Class A' type amp tones in 'Boutique' or the super tight tones of 'Class AB' amps in the 'Modern' setting. Both Overdrive Channels share a common EQ section dedicated to the entire overdrive section and also, similar to the Clean Channel, each Overdrive Channel have a Voice switch which let the player mould the particular character of each overdrive channel to their taste. The overdrive channels have been developed to offer High Gain tones but to produce these while being devoid of the 'fizzing' which many competitor products create as a consequence.
