The Blackstar HT METAL 1H amp head has bee voiced differently from the regular HT-1 Series. Blackstar Amps have produced a one watt mini metal monster in a compact head. Capable of classic metal to modern high gain and more.
The Blackstar HT METAL 1H features even more gain
If heavy gain is your thing then this little 1 watt guitar amp head might just meet you demands. Designed as a practice and recording amplifier the Blackstar HT METAL 1H is surprisingly versatile. So many practice guitar amps are digital these days and it is refreshing to find a smaller valve one. What does it offer? Firstly it is simple to use. Great tones are to be had with a few tweaks on the volume, gain and EQ. The EQ is based around the ISF, Infinite Shape Feature. This changes the tonal character. Essentially it makes the amp sound either more British or more American sounding. Boosting either the upper mids or the lower mids. The clean channel gives you very pleasant tones that break up nicely when you up the gain. Switching to the dirty channel immediately kicks in more gain.
A little guitar amp head with a big sound
The Blackstar HT METAL 1H can be plugged in to a variety of different extension speaker cabinets. It will connect to anything from 4 to 16 ohms. It does however partner the Blackstar HT METAL 408 speaker cabinet perfectly well. Voiced to work with this little guitar amp head it also matched the look. The whole Blackstar HT METAL Series have smart metal grills on the front. It not only looks the part but is robust too.
The Blackstar HT METAL 1H is a brilliant recording and practice amp. This higher gain version has seriously big tones for its size.
